Vallarpadam International Container Transhipment Terminal

 Prime Minister Manmohan Singh dedicated to the nation the first phase of the Rs 6,250 crore International Container Transhipment Terminal at nearby Vallarpadam island, Cochin, Which is known as the Queen of Arabian Sea, that would help exporters access mainline container vessels calling at the port.
